People die in different ways.
The way you die and how you live depends what wiill happen to you after you die.
There are two worlds. The one we live in and the one parallel to it. An invisible force headed by Rark the only immortal being divides the two worlds.
If you die a normal death and you did good deeds you become a citizen of the parallel world of Kaleton where all souls reside. If you did bad deeds you become a servant there, a second-class citizen. And if you die by committing suicide your soul wanders between the worlds forever. Never to be found again.
However, if you are killed by someone else then you have to go to the parallel world to kill the person that killed you. To cleanse yourself from the sin of dying when it wasn't your time.
Klac is killed by his girlfriend who he loves even after death. He must however kill her in the parallel world. As he goes on his journey and understands why he was killed would he kill his child hood sweetheart or face the consequences and sacrifice all for her? Again???
