He takes a couple of weeks to coordinate everything - finding a home to rent until he can search in person for a home to purchase, letting his job know that he's moving, and the new address once he's moved, packing the belongings he's taking, and selling or donating the rest, and notifying everyone important to him about what he's doing. His parents try really hard to get him to be a girl and after he got into a fight at school he has to go to detention where he meets a boy called Devin. While his own view about himself is challenged, he finds himself touching rock bottom. But Nick is just trying to be accepted as himself, Unapologetically. This is a story written for pride month 2024.
