This is a prequel and re-write of the series inheritance, In the first book we learn that Brom- a storyteller was in fact a dragon rider. However there is not much chance to reveal his past or his secret love with Eragon's mother before he dies. This is my imaginary version of his childhood and adventures of being a dragon rider and how I think the rest of the first book should have gone.

When the woman presents him a silver dragon egg and it hatches Korren becomes one of the legendary warriors who swore to protect Erdas, and know Korren must take up the mantel with two other kids from Erdas. Kya is a six year old from Arctica and younger twin sister to her older twin brother Korren, and future chief of Arctica. Kya has always stayed in the shadows not wanting to be seen as Korren's little sister. She wanted to be something more. She wanted to be a Dragon Rider after she heard the stories about them from some traders from Eura, who come to Arctica to trade with the villages. Kya's prayers to Suka the Polar Bear, one of the fifteen Great Beasts, are answered when a woman claiming to be Dragon Rider comes to their village. When Kya touches a dark purple dragon egg and it hatches Kya becomes one of the legendary Dragon Riders. Nimue is a non important six year old from Oceanus. She is always swimming in the ocean where she feels comfortable, but on land with people she never feels comfortable, especially when the so called people are whispering about her calling her a freak and a witch. Nimue wanted to get away from her old life and her parents. She spent almost every waking moment in the ocean to get away from her village. Nimue's wish however comes true when she touches a dark blue dragon egg from a Dragon Rider, and it hatches for her. This a fanfic of Wings of Fire, Spirit Animals, and The Inheritance Cycle. The Grimborns
Family can be complicated. Varra was a dragon rider. And a good one at that. Yet she sometimes felt like she didn't belong. Not just because she wasn't a Berkian by blood, though that didn't help. Past all the disapproving stares and pitying glances, she felt like there was something, or even someone, waiting for her. Little did she know that now, in the Great Beyond, she was about to meet the Grimborn brothers, and her life was about to get a lot more interesting. I do not own any of the How to Train Your Dragon franchise but I do own my oc Varra and her dragon Eclipse.
Shadow of a Shade
Addiane found her life to be comfortable enough. She may not have known her family, but she was fed and taken care of by those she lived with. She rarely feared for her life, and she was being taught valuable life lessons by those around her. Of course, training to be a Dragon Rider under the Shadeslayer himself, the first proper Rider in a long time, was a major bonus.
