I stood on the edge of the rooftop. My eyes closed and my mind free. I'm ready. Now is the time. I could feel my breath quickening, Breathe in, Breathe out. I slowly start to gain composure of my thoughts. I can hear the people on the ground. I can see them entering the building in their perfect dresses with their perfect hair. This is my first story, and I'm writing this mostly for fun, so don't get mad if it's not on par with all these gods of writing. Meet Angel, a girl just trying to get by in this living torture she calls a life. Being abused by her father, and living life in constant fear, she does her best to get by. What happenes when she tries to get away from all the hardship, but only ends up finding more? And maybe even finding someone that can save her from her own misserable life.
