'Look at me.' He whispered huskily, fists clenched at his sides as he was searching my face.
'We-we should keep going or we won't make it,' I whispered softly raising my head but still not looking at his intense grey eyes.
As I attempted to sidestep him, he caught my forearm halting my movement.
'You don't want to look me in the eyes, do you?' He asked his quickening breaths hitting my face making me aware of our close proximity.
'Fine,' He barely muttered when he noticed me shaking my head weakly.
I exhaled loudly in relief thinking that he finally dropped the subject. However, I was an idiot to expect him to swallow his thoughts...I was actually surprised that he lasted this long.
'I want you. .. I want you so f*cking much. And I can't keep it anymore,'
He whispered in my ear softly as his lips quirked ever so slightly
'What are you going to do now?'
~~
He was my punching bag.
I was his healing herb.
And we were perfectly imperfect.
