Alvery Konsh is not like most of her kind. Her tail is different from anyone's in her kingdom. Alvery may be a royal but more importantly the rare royal. Her tail grows a foot every year on her birthday, it grows until her 21st birthday. She faces danger every time she steps on land to be a normal person for school and when she steps back into the water to go home. Hunters and especially Sharkies (human sharks) are always after her. Alvery, being a mermaid, is pared with what you'd find as the worst man to be with by Poseidon.
