Picture this: If you're 13 years old, on May 24 a tattoo will appear on your wrist with the date of your death. 
No one questions it. The dates that appear are 100% accurate. You die when you reach the date on your wrist. 
But when Rachael's mom mysteriously disappears , she questions everything. Her dad and their loved ones tell Rachael she died from a car accident, but Rachael doesn't believe that. Rachael thinks her moms disappearance has something to do with the creator of the tattoos.
But something unusual happens with Rachael's tattoo, which causes the creator to to come pay a visit to  Punrith.

On her way there she finds out that her parents have died and that the bus driver took a wrong turn and is heading straight for her dead parents's mansion. She tries to warn them but is ignored and gets into an argument with the bus driver. Which leads her into a huge confrontation with her bully and almost getting raped! She also gets thrown into the harsh weather and she swears revenge. She decides to mess with magic which at first gets her what she wants but of course things get out of control and...you now what just read the book and find out.

She didn't know what monster she would become. So for her adoptive parents safety they decide to send her to away to a camp that they've been talking about for years. So then she arrived at a portal in the woods greeted by a guard. The guard sends her through the portal and when she arrived to the other she had seen something unbelievable, people just like her. They had wings, tails, and even claws. Once she got to her cabin, there was a girl with wings, who new May and this other girl would become good friends after that.
