Have you ever had an unpleasant surprise? Sure you have. Everyone has. Mine was just on a little bit of a larger scale. Ok by a little I mean pretty big. By big I mean like moving across the country to live with a billionaire dad you didn't know you had. Yeah, that big.
Lexie, a regular 16 year old girl, was anything but regular. She was smart, and she was funny, but most importantly, she was loved. She had a tight friend group that would die for her, a brother who was actually NICE to her and a mom who is practically inseparable from her. Well, was, practically inseparable that is.
Now Alexa Queen all of a sudden has to leave everything behind and start over. A new life, new friends, new school. But as you know, every school comes with a package: a new crush, new friends, a new queen who's out to ruin Lexie, and a whole new group of loyal subjects to back the queen up. So how does she deal with it?
She fights back of course. She builds her own arsenal from scratch, complete with her own loyal subjects including rock solid friendships, hopefully a legitimate father, and maybe, just maybe, to top it off, the school's bad boy who just might so be a bit of a hottie.
Join Lexi Queen as she fights through this battle of change and hopefully comes out on the other side as a victor with something special.

A musically talented teen with her sights set on the spotlight must find a way to get her life back when she falls in with the mob. ***** In a city where con artists make the rules and aspiring females wear sequins and dance with a pole, Melody Holiday refuses to ride on the coattails of her semi-famous grandfather. She wants the freedom to choose her own path to showbiz greatness. When a chance meeting with a handsome stranger provides Mel with an opportunity, she thinks she's landed the big one. But her grandpa isn't thrilled with the direction Mel's career is going, and it's not until she stumbles across something she probably shouldn't have that this becomes clear. Perhaps meeting the stranger with the Rocky Balboa eyes wasn't by chance. Maybe Mel is rubbing elbows with the kind of people who could take away her freedom for good. This story is loosely based on the author's feral youth. So, if you like your fiction shaken not stirred with a sprinkle of badboy on the rim, NEON GIRL delivers the goods; giving readers a dose of drama, a dash of romance, and a heaping helping of Las Vegas schmaltz. Oh, and there's a killer playlist, too. WATTYS WINNER! LEGAL DISCLAIMER: This is a work of fiction and owned by the author. Underneath his scars are feelings for her, feelings neither of them can deny. ***** Moving back to her hometown after six years away, Alana meets her childhood rival, Xavier, sitting on her mother's gravestone. He's still determined to tease and annoy her, and his arrogance and willingness to fight means she writes him off as a good-for-nothing. She gradually helps Xavier find himself, and he shows her how incredible she is as well.
