Homophony: (noun; homophonic = adjective): One melodic line with a harmonic accompaniment that supports the melody.

Alice Wright is your average teenage girl heading off for College for the first time. She hates blonde jokes, is dead poor (unless to take into account her rich American step dad), and loves her dog more than any boy she has ever met. Oh, and she's also a child prodigy who has mastered every instrument she's tried and began composing orchestra pieces at the age of fourteen.

Alice has been accepted into the Royal Northern College of Music, and cannot be happier to leave her home for Manchester. Armed with a killer musical ability, a kick-ass roommate, and a worn leather bound journal with her deepest secrets and symphonies, will she be able to handle bad-boy Harry Styles, who might be her biggest and best rival at RNCM?
