"What's a pretty thing like you, doing all alone in the park?" He smirked, and took a long drag of his cigarette. I scrunched my nose up in disgust. I've always hated the smell of smoke. My stomach started feeling weak.
"I-I haven't got a place to stay." I muttered shamefully, lowering my gaze to my old, beat up converse.
My head was spinning. I don't know if it was the horrid smell of his cigarette, or the fact that I haven't eaten in days. But something wasn't right.
I heard low mumbles, but his voice was fading away. My vision clouding up, I started to feel like I was slowly falling. I knew I was on the ground, but my body was stiff. I couldn't move. I faintly heard someone shout, yet it sounded so far away. With the world so distant, I slowly feel into what felt like a deep, deep sleep.
