That's why I need to get my sister out of the contaminated zone. That's why I have to risk the wrath of the leader of our refugee camp, a sadistic man who kills anyone he deems unloyal. The truth is, there is only death in the contaminated zone. I can hear it thumping in my head, reminding me that I can never tell anyone my secret.

-This is only a rough draft of my story I am currently working on the final draft so it will be much different in the final draft- After the events of the toxic woman, Gloria Ramirez, more and more people became "toxic", but as time went on and the earth began to fail due to global warming and pollution, the toxic virus began to change as well. No one really knows when it happened, but around the age of 25 and no later than 35, people began to become toxic, as if it was embedded into the entire human race's genetics. Some say this was caused by mass radiation poisoning, others say this is God's way of punishing us for our sins, but one thing we do know is that when you do become toxic, you don't just become sick and die, you become a zombie. This story follows six young adults as they discover some scary truths about themselves, and have to learn to survive on their own stuck in an abandoned city full of the one thing that can't die, because it already is dead. -This is a story I originally wrote for my English class, where we wrote stories based on real events. If you couldn't tell already, this is a story about Resident Evil 3. I'm taking everything only from the remake of 2020. I thought of this idea when watching Jacksepticeye's playthrough, so I'll be taking from his gameplay and spinning the story on its head. I do recommend watching or playing the game for yourself before reading this. It'll really make sense if you do. Just a fair warning, this will have graphic content and violent words. Back by popular request! The 2017 rough draft of The Virus Within! (Caution: Contains massive plotholes that were fixed in the polished The Virus Within Series. Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.) What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book.
