"Accept the things to which fate binds you, and love the people with whom fate brings you together, but do so with all your heart." _______ Jane De'Pont learned at an early age that fate didn't play favorites, and if it did, she certainly wasn't one. Crushed from her parent's sudden death, the separation from her best friend, and the hopelessness of living through her widowed aunts' eyes, she flees as soon as the opportunity arises. Expecting to find her place in society, Jane travels Europe with the sum of money willed from her family. However, the journey is cut short when she is thrown into the middle of World War I, and she makes the daring choice to enlist as a soldier. Jane risks her life to try and save her regiment's colonel from a deadly aim, but in return receives the worst of the injuries. Her once beautiful features are completely deformed, and Jane is forever trapped in the thoughts of never being loved. On the very day Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japan, Jospeh and Louise's world collide forming an undeniable bond. Even though both come from different wealth classes. After all the two would go through thick and thin just to keep their loved ones safe. They'd stick up for each other From Dusk Till Dawn.
