We've all read those stories- the bad boy and the nerd, who start out hating each other but somehow manage to fall in love through some unforeseen circumstances. For Christine and Ryder, their relationship was so cliche it was almost too good to be true. She was the art nerd. He was the motorcycle-driving bad boy. When they got together Junior year, they thought they would be together forever. But not everything has a happy ending. Senior year approaches, and everything starts going wrong almost instantly. Christine could have sworn Ryder was a changed man; so why did he keep coming home bruised and bloody, and so wasted she couldn't even understand him? But of course, Ryder has nothing on Christine's own secret- something that could end up breaking both their hearts. On the outside, they look like the perfect couple- she's drop-dead gorgeous, he's hopelessly in love, and they've been nicknamed Matthew Hills High's dream couple. In public, they look like they can't keep their hands off each other- in private, they're at one another's throats. Will the toxic relationship survive? Or will it burn?
