It was just an average day at school, except it wasn't. When Grace's school has a blackout, so does the entire city. The only difference after the lights come back about an hour later is that the only people in the city left are the people inside the school, everyone else is gone. The only exception is the unknown voice that fills the speakers in the school instructing and informing everyone about the current social experiment that they are all currently in. Grace, Alex, Maria, and Jason are grouped together and find themselves in not only a social experiment, but also a killing spree, and they're the prey.

What's not enough for one, too much for three, and just right for two? A secret. But you know teenagers. We tend to break or bend the rules. In this case, three is just right for the secret that these highschoolers hold. Facit autem virtus nostra nos. Our power makes us one. "So, what am I?" "We, we don't know. We're still trying to figure that out." And with that, he got up and left the room. Swirling his coat behind him, leaving us to deal with this information. I felt as if I had just been slapped directly in the face with a frying pan. What do you mean you don't know what I am? As if I'm some sort of alien creature or something that's going extinct. Once Again
"It's human nature. It's instinct to survive, no matter the cost." The world has fallen into desolation. The apocalypse has already started and finished, leaving some of the surviving ones with strange powers and mysterious scars. The world has ended, according to some, and is now in a state of rebirth. Others say it hasn't ended yet and that it's only going to get worse. The remaining people have grouped together in packs and gangs, raiding the desolate cities and avoiding the ones called the Destroyers, who capture and torture the remaining survivors. No one is safe. One fifteen year old boy knows this better than anyone. He and his older sister lived together, sticking to the dark alleys of their abandoned city, and survived for years after the apocalypse, until the Destroyers came and took her away, reigning terror on the few who remained in the city. The boy, desperate to find someone to help him save his sister, leaves the city and finds one of the youngest cooperative packs in North America, called the Raiders, comprised of unwanted individuals with the strange powers left from the destruction of years past. Their leader, a destructive insomniac, promises to help him in return for the skills and usefulness this young boy seems to possess, but something disrupting sends waves of unease through the Raiders, something about a forgotten past and talk of a mutiny. "Maybe there's more to life than just surviving." ... Rated C for Caution. Though it's rated mature, there is no bad language or vivid descriptions of sexual contact. It does have very strong themes. Teenagers, love, and friendship. It's summer or at least it's about to be. The group goes to Amy's house after school for a kick-off summer party! Kayla has an idea and bursts with energy while everyone is chilling in Amy's room on her bed. "Guys!! I had an amazing idea!! What if we all go to my grandparent's old farm I mean it's empty there are 5 rooms 2 have a double bed and 3 have 2 singles in them!! all I need to do is ask my parents for permission and they will say yes if Amy comes with me!"
