**A young girl, Lexy Pierce, age 16, has been struggling with depression and self-harm for the past 2 years of her life. Now her life is about to change. Since her step dad is in the Navy, he is being relocated, so her and her family have to move away. She has been able to keep her self-harm a secret, but how much longer will it last? Maybe one day, the words of her peers will go too far. She still has half a year at her current school, but she finds herself no longer wanting to live if she is going to have to move away from all of her true friends that have stayed through the lies.   
A young boy, Jonathan Wayne, age 16, has been struggling with depression and self-harm for 3 years of his life. When one day, he finds himself being kicked out of his house, he has to live at his best friend's house, who has never understood why he feels the need to hurt himself.   The beginning of his 11th grade year, there's a new girl in town. How will her arrival affect his life?**
