Shao Khan have kept a dark secret that no one knows about expect for the people he trust, Tanya 'The Edenian Traitor' was alive, yes the Tarkatan warriors did attacked her because Jade threw a orb filled with concentrated Tarkata at Tanya, Baraka and the Tarkatan warriors perceived Tanya to be a rival male and instinctively attacked. Everyone that she was good as dead but she wasn't, she was about to breath her last air of life until she took the Dragon King's power last minute, after the Tarkata scent disappeared, Baraka realize what he and his Tarkatan warriors did they locked her away waiting for Shao Khan's rebirth and let him decide what he was going to do.
