Princess Corinna Aislinn grew up in an isolated kingdom where those with magic were seen as superior. The day before her coronation, she learned the truth of her dastardly fate. So she retrieved her belongings and ran from her kingdom, never looking back at her home again. Corinna had no clue what was in store for her, not having seen the world outside of Raven Hollows, but with the aid of a bastard son to a dead King, she learned more about the world than her fellow witches would ever teach her.

She had told him that they could go somewhere warm, before. Somewhere that he could see the ocean, the blue oceans, not the muddy murky mess that laps at the edges of King's landing. Somewhere without the shadows that lurk in the halls of this castle. But that was before. Before the war. Before her brother became a king. Before she became more than just a lady of Winterfell, and before Gendry stayed the same- only a bastard, a bastard from fleabottom that never quite learned to stop thinking that the world would give him more than his station deserved. There is nothing for him here, and yet- he'll stay, because she's here, because everything in his life begins and ends with her. (Arya/Gendry centric, sequel to "the world keeps turning (it's us that just stands still)," can be read as a stand alone) Everything you recognize belongs to HBO and George R.R. Martin.
