Percy Adams lives on his own as a doll maker. Nothing wrong with that, but the poor man sees his dolls as living things, being able to hear them "speak to him." Though some are seen as children to him, he is slowly tortured in his distorted mind by images of the dolls that his inner voices instructed him to make. He runs away and screams for help when the dolls seem to draw near in his vision as he is slowly pulled farther into madness...
