Bucky goes off to war and goes missing for two weeks and is pronounced dead and Steve is notified of this. Steve breaks down and doesn't know what to do with himself. Bucky is found later with a metal arm and announces that he'll be taking his leave in three days to go home and take care of Steve. Fluffy stucky au. Set in the winter of 1945 and so on. There may be accompanying fanart. It all depends. ☺️
