For geologist and photographer, Jevera Kern, and her co-worker, Jake Fala, traveling to new and isolated regions of the world was standard for their career. On a routine trip to investigate a recently discovered cave outside a small farming community in Southern Oregon, Jevera and her partner quickly realize that this job was all but ordinary. Everyone they meet who knows about the Hope Lake ridge can't recall much about the history of the area but simply describe it as 'strange'. They quickly see just how well it lives up to its reputation within the first night of their stay. A mystery lies in the dark veins of Hope Lake ridge and its water-less lake but time is short to find out how sinister it truly is.
