Ari is a regular 16 year old girl. Though, she feels as though she lives in a world of secrets and drama. Her parents seem to love each other, but she hears fighting during the night. Her best friend doesn't ever offer to study or even hangout at her house and is all ways hanging out with Ari's enemies. Her brother and sister are always out and seem to be hiding things from her. And her old best friends is now a typical school mean girl. Ari feels alone, and doesn't seem to be good enough for anyone. She wishes she new what was going on and why her life is falling apart, but gets no answers. She grows angrier and angrier and sadder and sadder by the day.
One day, she goes and draws in the forest. She finds a unique looking butterfly and follows it deeper into the forest, to reach a enchanting area. As she studies the butterflies and their home more and more with every day learning more. The butterflies show her a world of untold secrets and help her get through the roughest times. Ari starts to understand why people act the way they do.
