*NOTICE: This story was originally titled PULSE, as was the organisation, however has since been changed because I felt uncomfortable in regards to recent events.* PRAELIA. Warrior. Fighter. Aalia Henry is everything opposite of her family. When her sister, Delilah, started ballet, Aalia started karate and kick-boxing. When Delilah started her ABC's, Aalia was working on a junior coding scholarship. While Delilah spent her free time with friends, Aalia spent time in a laboratory running tests on everything she could get her hands on. Truth be told, Aalia was just a little bit smarter than the average child, but not everyone knows that. She goes to a normal school, with normal people, and has a relatively normal life. But when she's taken from her family into the depths of a hell-bent war, she becomes the Praelia. Aalia will have to face challenging her morals in order to save her life. Morals that could mean the end of all human essence.

In a world where Highborns control magic, the government, and the "lesser" species - Lowborns - there is much animosity between the two groups. So much, in fact, that a rebellion was formed to fight against the oppressive Highborns - the Phoenix People. Princess Alexia is a sheltered Highborn girl who thinks no further than the walls surrounding the palace grounds. When her brother, the king, shares his plans for completely exterminating the Lowborn race, however, Alexia's conscious keeps her from standing idly by while he follows through with his plans. Alexia joins the Phoneix People. Soon, she is dragged into a world of danger and magic, where she is not the revered princess she has been for sixteen years, where her handmaiden is a fierce warrior, where her laws mean nothing, and where betrayal is right around the corner. Nothing is as it seems. Nothing is as it should be. And it's up to Alexia to put things right. [Cover Credits to @LarissaChesser]
