Picardie II

Poem I wrote in Noember, 2011. I actually wrote the first draft of this (Picardie I) on rememberence day, but this kind of slipped. Felt I needed to re-do it to give it the proper credit that the subject of the poem deserves. Pretty simple really- time moves on and the world repairs itself, but we must look deeper than what we see today to appriciate what cost this new world came at. Lest we forget.
