I press the gun to the back of her head. I hear her breathing become unsteady as she shakes violently. I smile knowing I have the upper hand, but it quickly goes away as I realize I'm holding a gun to an innocent girls head. I decide that it's too late to turn back now. I reach my hand up and gently twirl a piece of her dirty blonde hair.
"Open the door," I say quietly, but still loud enough for her to hear me. She suddenly stops her violent shaking and becomes completely still. She doesn't dare move a muscle. I can feel the fear radiating off of her.
I press the gun into her head more and she tenses up and nods her head. She slowly reaches her hand into her back pocket, pulling out her keys. She stays still again most likely pondering if she should try to run and find help or just open the door.
"I won't hesitate to pull the trigger," I snap. She flinches at the tone of my voice. She swiftly takes her key and unlocks the door.
"Why are you doing this?" she asks in a tone that almost makes her sound confident until her voice cracks at the very end.
"Darling, cold blooded people do cold blooded things," I say as I put my free hand gingerly on the small of her back and I feel her relax under my touch. She walks into her house and I follow behind closely.
