They have been doing the games differently these past few years.
They have been basing the arenas of each district. This year it is my districts turn. District 4.
It may be my saving grace.
I am going into the games.

Fliss Barker is reaped into the games. Something that was not meant to happen. She was told someone would volunteer.
But when no one volunteers she is stuck.
One thing is certain.
She will do anything to survive.

Behind Those Violet Eyes ▸ Hunger Games
The country of Panem has been a dark place since the first rebellion years ago. Now, as punishment for their uprising, each year two female and two male tributes are sent into the arena to fight to the death in the Hunger Games, a bloodbath broadcasted for all of Panem. Cyra Merison, a fifteen year old girl from District Four has been an outcast since she was a child. With her fiery personality and bright violet eyes, she's never been part of the 'in' crowd. Not to mention, she's entirely against the Capitol in every way. Alia Fletson, a sixteen year old girl from District Two, has been training for the Hunger Games her entire life. Along with her best friend Cato Demeir, they make an unstoppable team. And then there's Gale Hawthorne. The poor boy from District Twelve, who has a secret that could change the course of a lifetime forever. When the four collide, rivalries are instantly formed, boundaries are crossed, and things seem to spiral out of control. But maybe this isn't for the worst. People can always come together in different ways, and come together to stand up for what is right. Everything happens for a reason, after all...Complete
TEMPESTUOSA || OC x FINNICK ODAIR 🔱
"The Tempest Rises" In the molten heart of Panem, where the Capitol's grip strangles the soul and the Hunger Games are a ritual of blood and spectacle, a storm is born. Calypso Rivenheart-child of sea and sorrow, sculpted by grief and fire-is not your typical Career tribute. Raised in the ruthless shadows of District 4, haunted by a mother lost to the Games and broken by a father who trained her to survive but never to live, she enters the 69th Hunger Games not as a pawn-but as a reckoning. Thrown into the arena known as The Obsidian Wastes, a volcanic crucible of ash, acid, and mutts carved from nightmares, Calypso must navigate both the lethal terrain and the political theater that feeds it. But this isn't just a fight for survival. It's a confrontation with her past, her trauma, and the Capitol's rot. Mentored by the enigmatic Finnick Odair-himself a golden victor turned ghost of rebellion-Calypso discovers a dangerous bond tethered by shared scars and quiet defiance. Together, they become something the Capitol never anticipated: a spark too wild to contain. This isn't just another Hunger Games. This is the birth of a myth. Beneath the blood and ash, a girl with a broken heart becomes a tempest. And when she rises, the Capitol will tremble. ____________________ Finnick Odair x Female OC Pre Hunger Games - Hunger Games - Catching Fire - Mockingjay 1&2 ____________________ started: april 2025 finished:
The 65th Hunger Games - EDITING
From the treaty of the Treason: In penance for their uprising, each district shall offer up a male and female between the ages of 12 and 18 at a public "Reaping". These tributes shall be delivered to the custody of The Capitol. And then transferred to a public arena where they will fight to the death, until a lone victor remains. Henceforth and forevermore this pageant shall be known as The Hunger Games. You would think that with three entries in a bowl filled with a thousand of other names the odds would be in your favour, right? Wrong. The odds are never in your favour. Finnick's Story • The Hunger Games | ✓
Like all children in his world, 14-year-old Finnick Odair had the chance of being chosen for the Hunger Games. In a pool stock full of names, he was just as vulnerable as anyone from the ages of 12-18. And in District Four, which often tends to produce Career tributes, its residents could only hope that this year's pair would fall under that description. On Reaping day, a 14-year-old boy's name is called. A name often whispered down the hallways of the local high school, giggled at, fawned over. It was impossible. Him, of all people? It couldn't be, could it? Yet it was. At age 14, Finnick Odair was called forth to be a tribute in the 65th annual Hunger Games. Many residents stood there in doubt, wondering how a boy so young could possibly bring home the victor's crown. There had never been a victor so young, after all. However, there is a first time for everything. __________________________ Excerpt: ❝25, 24, 23...❞ I can do this. I have the skills, the desire...I can win. It's possible. I know it's possible. The odds may be against me, against all of us, but one of us has to win. ❝15, 14, 13...❞ To everyone in District Four who is watching; to my mom, dad, and Annie Cresta, I'm making a promise to you. ❝7, 6, 5, 4...❞ Whatever happens here, I will fight like hell to come back home, ❝3, 2, 1...❞ I promise you. Rising Tide//The 70th Hunger Games//Annie Cresta
"I don't know if I can do this," I whispered, my eyes stinging with the threat of tears. "I don't know how to survive this." "You don't have to do it alone," he said quietly. "We're in this together, Annie. You're not the only one who's scared." This year, the Games are different. With an all-new arena, designed to be more dangerous and unpredictable than ever before, the tributes must navigate a maze of traps and shifting alliances. In the shadow of past uprisings, the Capitol has set its sights on making an example of these young competitors. Among the tributes is a girl named Annie a survivor from District 4 who must face the challenges of these Games... Origins of a White Rose: A Hunger Games FanFic
"Once a upon a time there was a girl met the President. She didn't realize at first who he was but as soon as she realized who he was, she bowed. To which he responded with: 'You have no reason to bow to me because I do believe I'm in love with you. I know this is forward but I've never met another girl like you.' The girl was blushing by this point. 'I'll give you whatever your heart desires, if you'll just stay in the Capitol a few more days.' Well, a few days turned into a few weeks turned into a few months until the girl was appearing in Capitol movies, attending important dinners, and her favorite of all: spending time with the President himself. The two got to know each other quite well. And for an entire year, they chatted and flirted and he never did anything besides hold her hand. She couldn't figure out why he could be content with that but he was. He found the beauty in small, sentimental things like that. And once the girl realized that, she discovered that she had fallen in love with him. Then there was no way the shy girl from District 1, a ruthless killer, could ever return back to her old life," I said, finishing my story. "That's just as I remember it," Coriolanus Snow said, with a sigh. Disclaimer: Some characters belong to Suzanne Collins.Complete

When Reef, a young girl from District Four, thinks she'll make it through her last year of the reaping, finds that she was unsuccessful. She had been reaped for the 70th annual Hunger Games and must fight for her life in an arena against 23 other tributes from the other 12 districts. With the charming Finnick Odair as her mentor, she knows she has to fight, she has to live for her brother and herself. Reef also finds herself falling for her mentor, and maybe he sees something in her as well. But that is the least of her problems as she thinks hard about her strategies to win the games. With the arenas always changing, no matter how much she hates to be associated as one, Reef must think and train like a career if she truly wishes to win. That is, until a certain district reaches out for an alliance. If she survives the Hunger Games, will she be able to help Katniss in her efforts against the Capital? What will happen with her relationship with Finnick? Will everyone survive?
