Ze is Gifted. He uses his gift, like most other Gifted, for good and to fight crime. His first time fighting crime, he thinks it's going to be easy. Until he meets Chilled Chaos, am infamous Gifted who uses his Gift for evil. As the fight, it becomes more and more apparent that Chilled doesn't want to do the things he has to. So, Ze becomes determined to make sure he doesn't have to. However, if only he knew that bringing him over to the light would uncover something darker.  To protect what he loves, Ze will have to try to team up with Chilled, another not-so-honorable Gifted, a guy who can teleport, a flaming fox, and a news reporter with a secret special ability.

In this world, some people were said to be gifted, gifted magic, a power, or multiple at once in only one being. Those were strong beings who always kept their gifts to themselves as to not scare the masses and stay out of trouble. While most of them would rather live normal lives and use their powers to their very own advantage, it did happen some decided to use their powers for something bigger, whether it be for the greater good or vile intentions. In other words what you'd know as Villains or Heroes. In the capital city of l'manburg they were a very well-known group of super villains, they were known as the ACES. But to bring back harmony stood against them the Dream Team. Them and 404 apparently, a hero who played his part all by himself. No one knew anything of him, yet he knew everything about the Dream Team. How? No one knew. Maybe because they were all friends since high school, ah, or was it the fact he single handedly build all of their scientifically-prodigious-costumes, oh not to mention he was married to one. Those were probably the reasons yeah. ----------------- OR, in this fic dnf are married and both heroes but Dream doesn't know his hubby is also one. George is a genius and a scientist. Yeah both at once, ain't it hot? Karlnap are boyfriends and roomies. Skephalo are fiancés. Hannah, Sylvee, Cate and Puffy are ALL the villains. Oh, yeah and they all have super powers.

Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. Our story begins on a autumn morning in Megadale, where the absence of DudePow, the city's famed hero, has left a noticeable void. With crime on the rise, the city is in need of a savior. Meanwhile, Gal Monroe and her family settle into their new home, once belonging to her late great uncle, Angus. As her and her twin brother Kelli explore the basement, they stumble upon a surprising secret: Angus Monroe was none other than the incredible superhero, DudePow. Intrigued by this revelation, Gal tries on Angus's ring, hoping to uncover its powers. To her surprise, she finds herself engulfed in a blue aura, inheriting the abilities of DudePow. Now "cursed" with unexpected strength, Gal must navigate her newfound powers while living in a world dominated by men, determined to carry on her great uncle's legacy and bring justice to Megadale. hi! little explanation here: this is an adaptation of one of my favorite fever dream memory: Shezow! i wrote the story but with a new perspective, Gal's point of view. i always thought about her as i watched the original show: what does she likes? how is she? what are her weaknesses? is she confident? (absolutely not!) and i seriously had a reflexion and a whole analysis over a character that doesn't even have two episode in the original show!!!! IM THAT OBSESSED! So be ready to enter the world of a 14 yo girl dealing with all the problems of her kind. However, if time can prove anything, it is that sometimes what we need most is not what we could ever have imagined. {-{ NEW chapters released on Thursdays }-} This story takes place in Gotham City, and therefore within the universe of DC (Detective Comics), making it technically a fan-fiction. Regardless, all the characters and storylines are my own work, except for a few Easter eggs which are aimed for DC fans. What does spoiled milk and superpowers have in common Absolutely nothing. Of course, that's not what young Desmond Reid thought when his mother sent him on an errand one afternoon to receive some milk from a local grocery store. Upon his return home, and after having a glass, Desmond ends up having a seizure on the kitchen floor and blacks out. When he wakes up, he discovers he's been transmitted to a hospital and it's been two weeks since his little episode. Upon his return to reality, however, things change. Desmond Reid's ordinary life changes one morning when he wakes up and discovers his body levitating above his bed. Ever since then, the 17-year-old, high school senior has been getting extreme migraines and constant nosebleeds. After a trip to the doctor's office, young Desmond is told he is suffering from the changes of puberty, which, of course, Desmond finds extremely hard to believe-especially when he manages to stop an oncoming bus. It's then Desmond gets the idea that he could have superpowers, and after an intense amount of research, he learns he has the gift of telekinesis-the ability to lift or move objects with the power of one's mind. This convinces Desmond to take up the mantle of a superhero. After spending weeks training to harness abilities, not to mention going about his normal school life, and buying a costume online, Desmond thinks he's ready to hit the streets. However, his first night on the job as a superhero doesn't go as planned and as time goes by, he begins to question whether or not his powers are a gift, or a terrible curse. Things seem to go from bad to worse when men in black suits start following Desmond and his mother ends up being kidnapped by a man named Augustine, who claims to want Desmond's blood to rid the world of disease. Desmond must use his new found powers if he's to escape from Augustine's wrath and save his mother's life.
