No one asks to be a Gifted. To be cast out as a "freak". To go into hiding your true abilities just to live a normal life. Or be bullied into being one of those Gifted who are the reason people with the Gift are treated so badly. At least some use that Gift for good and not... other deeds.

Ze is Gifted. He uses his gift, like most other Gifted, for good and to fight crime. His first time fighting crime, he thinks it's going to be easy. Until he meets Chilled Chaos, am infamous Gifted who uses his Gift for evil. As the fight, it becomes more and more apparent that Chilled doesn't want to do the things he has to. So, Ze becomes determined to make sure he doesn't have to. However, if only he knew that bringing him over to the light would uncover something darker.  To protect what he loves, Ze will have to try to team up with Chilled, another not-so-honorable Gifted, a guy who can teleport, a flaming fox, and a news reporter with a secret special ability.

I, Mick Chadwick, regret to inform my readers that this memoir contains nothing but the truth, which in the case of Tobias MacClain, most ridiculed as Pajama Boy, is far from pleasant. "Hey, I'm a Super Hero!" is a collection of short stories by some of Wattpad's top authors. I think that everyone dreams at some time or other about having super powers. What powers would you want? What would you do with them? Would you be a hero or a villain? You could choose from DC Comics or X-Men or Avengers or Misfits, or maybe you want to go old-school as a witch or sorcerer or vampire or werewolf, or really old-school with the powers of a Greek god! In the first story of this collection I get the powers of Mystique, the X-Men villain capable of transforming into other people. What happens in the rest of the stories? I don't know, because they haven't been written yet! I plan to challenge my friends and fellow Wattpad authors to write their own stories to add to the collection. For over a hundred years, humanity has lived in fear of the monsters that roam the streets, lurking in the drains below. No one leaves the home unless it's essential, and most of the world prefers it that way. Until one girl spends her days perched on her window seat, looking down at the world below and dreaming of a different life. Her eyes are always drawn to the dark, ominous drains in the street, the ones that often blink open to swallow and person whole. One day, that person is her little brother, snatched right in front of her from their arms of their father and gone forever. When a person is snatched, they never return, and life goes on without them. But she can't accept that. Breaking all the rules, all the things she's ever known, she braves the world outside her little townhouse and goes on a mission into the darkness to find her brother. Only, it's soon her that becomes the one lost to the drains. To survive she must rediscover her world, and in the process, rediscover herself. She will be reunited with old friends, gain new ones, find out deeper secrets about her past than she ever could have imagined, and learn that the world is even more corrupt than she always thought. *** This story contains sexist ideology, mention of cheating, some gruesome scenes, and a whole lot of monsters and darkness. It isn't overly mature... there isn't much explicit language or sexual scenes, but there is a bit of violence, so just keep that in mind... and despite all that negativity, ENJOY!

They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise.
