~I wonder if people appreciate their ability to speak, probably not. People don't appreciate something until they have lost it or don't have it.~
Jennifer Roland.

Jennifer Roland is mute. She has always been mute. It's not because she is shy or anything like that, she is just simply... mute.

Life has always been fairly simple around her. She has two understanding parents, an overprotective little brother and a supportive best friend. Everything is peaceful and she is happy with where she is. She is entering her first year of senior school and she has nothing much to think of except her sport and passing the year just like last year.

But... things don't always turn out the way you want them to.
An awkward first encounter with a new student leads her to finding out things about the school she never dreamed she would learn. Jenny learns the hidden powers lurking in her world, the people who seek to destroy that power and the people fighting to keep it alive.
All this starts with just an inevitable encounter with a certain boy: Tim Croat.

Jennifer's idea of a peaceful and normal year of high school is thrown out the window to welcome the world of magic, mystery, unthinkable secrets and love.
