"It should've been me!" I cried out. I was gripping his hand tightly, I didn't want him to leave me. No he wasn't going to leave me, it wasn't an option. "I d-did it to save you, you've become one of my best friends in such a short time. Plus Harry would've killed me if it was you." We both chuckled at that, though it was only short lived.

"Thank you." He said, "For what?" I asked as tears continued to stream down my face. "For helping him, for fighting for him, and for making him happy. He's my best mate and I haven't seen him happy in a while."

I smiled at him, before he began coughing. "T-tell him something for me." He managed to say in between coughs. "Anything." I breathed out. "C-cut his hair, he looks like a girl." With that we began laughing again.

Until he took his last breath.

Until all life left his eyes.
