Farkle Minkus has always had a huge crush on his best friend, Maya Hart. Maya, on the other hand, only sees him as a friend. Basically, it was one sided: Farkle had the crush, but Maya didn't return those feelings back. Farkle's nemesis, Smackle, has a crush on him, but he doesn't feel the same way, since they're academic nemeses and looks at her as a frenemy. Farkle tells her that he has a secret girlfriend, but she doesn't buy it, so he goes to Maya, and she finally accepts to be his one week girlfriend to show Smackle he doesn't reciprocate her feelings in that kind of way. But, along the way, Maya finds herself... well, something that she thought would never happened in a million years. Will the one week relationship work?
