Finding Refuge in the Rainforest

There was once a time when humans were able to harness the power of magic along with an animal companion called a familiar. This magic was how ancient civilizations built all of their magnificent creations, the Easter Island moai, the Great Wall of China, the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, and more. After a while though, humans started getting power hungry and abusing these magical powers, so the familiars of all of the world leaders banded together and made a decision to lock away the humans magic. Now, hundreds of thousands of years later, in the year 2375, twenty children, descendants of the original world leaders are being led to a magically concealed rainforest to be united with descendants of the world leaders' familiars, and unlock their magical powers. This is where our story begins. . .
