We met in Spring.
On April 1938, right after Austria was invaded by the Germans. When I thought all hope was lost, he was there to guide me.
Living in the secluded area of the German-Austria border, I predicted no one would ever find me there, right?
Until he came. Took me by a swirl. Supposedly an enemy, turned Friend. To me he was a thief, barging into my home, until he found me hiding under the stairs of my small cottage basement.
She was an exotic beauty. Different from anyone I had ever seen before. Dark, charcoal locks that were rare, big brown eyes that just stared at me with fear and skin pale as snow.
Beautifully exotic, and just pretty.
