This chapter book is about a group of nine girls that meet when they are told of their elements. The nine elements are fire, ice, water, wind, earth, light, lightning, shadow, and an unknown one. These girls will go on many adventures together helping people and fighting people with the elements they have. Only one of the girls will have the most powerful power. That girl will be the one with the unknown element. The girls names are Jessica, Willow, Lily, Stella, Cordelia, Dawn, Audra, Neva, and Melanie. All the girls are at the age of 16 or 17.
