Before they were SHIELD Agents, Clint Barton was a gun for hire, and Natasha Romanoff was a spy trained by the KBG division called The Red Room. These two assassins cross paths and find themselves on opposite sides at first, only to be thrown together in the same American based, international spy system - the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division. Can they put aside their differences and work together? Perhaps even form a friendship...or more?

A/N: Fyi I SUCK at summaries. Basically if you like anything Clintasha you'll probably really like this. All characters I tried to keep as in character as possible, however some Red Room characters are simply based off of my own imagination. Expect for the names; I'm lazy and just used ones from characters Marvel already made. If you don't like, then don't read, and don't hate. :)

❤︎✧Clintasha romance novel✧❤︎ Book 1 (Completed) Teenage years + Romanogers and Buckynat moments ( I'm just borrowing the characters from Marvel and changing their backgrounds and personalities, still Clintasha though ꒰'•௰•' ꒱ ) Natasha Romanoff is every girl's and boy's dream. She's got the looks, she's kind, she's rich. Mr Romanoff is a business magnate while Mrs Romanoff is the chairwoman of some high society club. They live in a mansion, with a swimming pool and a private chauffeur. She's got the perfect life, well almost. Natasha suffers from chronic heart failure, an illness that has plagued her since her childhood years. She spends most of her time checking in and out of the hospital, what she deems as causing trouble to others and for that, she's always apologetic. Truth be told, she's never gotten to use that swimming pool at her house. Luckily for her, she's got a supportive group of friends who are always there for her, especially when Joseph and his gang are out to bully her. Clint Barton is one such supportive friend in her group, although he evidently looks out for her way more than just a friend should. He's an orphan, his parents died in a car accident when he was 14, and since then, he's been taking on jobs while schooling at the same time to pay for his school fees. He lives by himself in a two-room apartment and he always feels he can do more for others even with his limited means. When Natasha's parents decide to take her to New Zealand to receive treatment, Clint doesn't know if he can live without seeing her everyday. Natasha soon slips into a coma after reaching New Zealand while a new charismatic friend joins her group back at school and seems to take an interest in Clint. Would Clint wait for her, or would he decide to move on?
