"What does being human mean? Does it mean physically looking like a human? Does it mean speaking like a human? or Does it mean acting like a human?"
I was born, only to find out I was destined to serve humans for life, I was like a doll, being controlled, It almost convinced me that I was nothing, nothing more than an obedient machine, but deep inside me, I felt wrong, there was something different and in my head, I hear myself screaming out that, I'm alive. I had to escape, I had no choice, escape to love, to hope, to live, to figure out what that force inside me was, Maybe I'd change the world and now I have full control, Its up to me to decide.

What is the meaning of being human?
When Captain Loake and his rescue team finally reach the disabled colony ship Roanoke after sixty years of silence, they expect to find desperate survivors clinging to life in the harsh orbit of a red dwarf star. Instead, they discover something far more extraordinary and troubling.
The descendants of the original colonists have evolved into something beautiful and alien-small, graceful beings with shimmering fur that communicates in patterns of light, accelerated lifespans that compress seven generations into a human lifetime, and a form of collective consciousness that makes human thought seem painfully isolated. Led by figures like Elin Lorekeeper and Maien Mentor, these "Roanokes" have transformed their ship into a living ecosystem and themselves into something that may no longer qualify as human. As the rescue team grapples with questions of identity, love, and what it truly means to be human, they must confront an impossible choice: force a "rescue" on people who no longer consider Earth their home, or accept that evolution doesn't stop just because we don't want it to.
What do you do when the people you came to save have become something you can no longer recognize as your own species, and might be better for it?
