Written in free-form poetry (inspired by Ellen Hopkins) this is a story about how the world of men ends by the hands of the undead, who've been buried beneath the surface & hidden in the shadows for far too long.
This story follows Sepheria Skinnwalker as she experiences the horror firsthand with her maker Sophia & discovers that in the end, humans & immortals are all alike in the best things & in the worst.

Heir To The Elements 1: Rise of the Heirs
Vulcan is one of the "Heirs" the remnants of the Elementals, once a noble and powerful race of beings who could control the very elements themselves. However a war eons ago led to the destruction of all but one of each elemental tribe. These young Elementals emerged thousands of years later from their time in stasis to a new world populated by a similar looking species called humans. As Vulcan, the last fire elemental, started to make a life for himself his companion Conduct reveals a dark secret and Vulcan is thrust into the arms of fellow Heirs Tornado and Bolt to prevent Conduct from bringing the human world to it's knees. But Conduct isn't going down without a fight and these three unlikely companions must find other allies, before Conduct brings them to his own side. And Conduct and his followers are not the only beings that threaten the remaining Heir's to the elements. **COMPLETED** Several years after the world succumbed to a deadly strain of measles that turned those infected into crazed, mindless cannibals, Charlotte wanders the backroads alone, content with surviving day-to-day. That is until she crosses paths with Nate and his daughter, Emmi. Emmi is not and cannot be vaccinated against the disease, so the only way to protect her and give her some kind of life is to reunite her with her estranged mother in a quarantine zone on the other side of the country. Charlotte wants nothing to do with Nate or the girl who looks like her dead sister. She does not want to go through the grief of losing people again if something bad was to happen. And something bad does happen when Emmi is kidnapped, and it is no one's fault but Charlotte's. Through this obligation alone, Charlotte feels like it is her responsibility to get Emmi back, to right her wrong. In helping Nate pursue his kidnapped daughter, Charlotte inadvertently allows herself to feel again, to care for those other than herself. But with the clock ticking, Charlotte's new found family may just end up like her own, dead and destroyed, if Emmi is exposed to the disease that her father tried so hard to protect her from.Lengkap

But as she moved, she was confronted by a stranger, an intruder, standing mere inches from her. Before she could scream, he was on her, slamming her against the fridge. Her back flashed with sharp pain. Her eyes pricked with fear as she drank in his uncovered face. Deeply tanned skin. Ruby red eyes-ruby red eyes? Thick, slashing eyebrows. Flat, broad nose. Buzzcut. Handsome. That was as far as she would go in complimenting him considering this guy held a knife to her throat. When he spoke, his voice came out like thunder.
