Cameron Lane is the " how to girl " for the magazine Stars Inc but that's now what she wants to spend her life doing. She wants to be able to interview different stars for the magazine. Her boss tells her that all she needs is a really great " how to " piece and she will get the raise of her dreams.

She comes up with the idea to write a piece about how girls are losing their men after only three months. Her boss loves it, now all she has to do is find a guy and make him leave after three months. How hard can that be.
