I have never been very good at biting my tongue. I just haven't seen much value in filtering my thoughts. This way of thinking, however, has gotten me in quite a bit of trouble throughout my few years on this earth. From fourth grade when I told my teacher that I didn't understand how she was allowed to teach, to sophomore year when I told my Chemistry teacher that his teaching style was idiotic and that that was the reason half of the class was failing. But this year is going to be different; this year I am going to think before I speak and see what happens, even if it kills me.
