A seemingly hot and empty desert, strangely full of life and terror. The strong against the many, the neutral with themselves. The usual life of the people in the village is not very exciting, yet full of underlying fear of the strong. Despite the threats, they are able to maintain a peaceful life through the means of neutrality and order. All works well until one day a severly wounded individual is brought back to be taken care of. From then little happens, but the old means of keeping peace and order slowly start to lose their effect. No one suspects a thing except for one. The only one who seems to be able to slowly reveal the secrets of the stranger who refuses to tell her who he really is. The more she finds out the more things start to get out of place, the more she seems to be pulled into the life of the wounded man she is supposed to take care of.

(To clarify, yes this is a divergent AU fanfic, and with AU I mean a universe in which factions are not even known. The only characters from the book to appear in this will be Tris and Tobias. The main reason I decided to create this was from the disappointment of not being able to find any good and original Divergent AU's. If this seems totally off from the Divergent story line, then yes you are correct, that is the whole purpose of this AU.
