The Lost Ones

Ever since Apspen was nine, she has been attacked by 'Misplaced Souls'. Now she's seventeen, and still fighting them off. Right after she finally kills one that has been stalking and attacking her for a week, a guy comes out of the tree line and demands the 'Misplaced Soul's' body, saying he had been on his way over to kill it and therefor it was his. Dozens of questions pop into her head, but the biggest one is, "How does he know exactly where one would be at a certain time?"
