Two years after Lee's death and everything that you thought you knew about Clementine and her story are different. Instead of initially finding and reuniting with Christa and Omid, she meets an unlikely friend, Rowan Eaves. Neither being a talkative type, they grow quite close and over the two years meet up with Christa and Omid but tragically lose the both of them, leaving them to protect one another.

Over two years, the two girls have grown an intensely tight bond and would do anything to save the other, which is why when they stumble upon a confused and raunchy group, Rowan does everything in her power to get away and protect Clementine. But something stops her from leaving and it's not just Clementine's pleas.

Rowan has been running her entire life and now in the apocalypse where running is a must for survival, nothing has changed. But what happens when someone stops her in her tracks altogether? Could the walls she's built up her entire life finally come crashing down on top of her? And can she save everyone and herself from the destruction of these walls?
