When the worlds gone to ashes, you may estimate there'd be about ten people left. May one in each country. For me, I always thought it was two. Me, and ten year old Ashton. The sun rises, and as soon as it does, it feels as if it's five minutes until it sets. The night is long, creatures roam around and the dark clouds make it rain. Huge giants that have leather skin walk around town, eating anyone in sight.
I have a plan. It's always me and Ashton, no one else.
Until I met Ace. He, and his seven year old cousin, they're just like us. One plan, trust no one. But he says I'm different. That he has better plans for me.
But I have no idea if his game plan will work on me.
