"Rose,where are you?" Jack asks as he paces around the hall
I pull my knees closer to my chest hoping to not make a sound. 
"Rose?" he calls from the other side of the bathroom door. I quickly go into the bathtub as he opens the door.
"Rose, I'm sorry I yelled at you. I didn't mean to scare you like that" Jack says as he walks closer to the bathtub. 
His eyes filled with regret, "I promise I'll never hit you again" for once, I finally felt like he ment it...
