December 31st 11:45 p.m. Richmond Hill Park, Beverly Hills Dear Diary, It is finally New Years' Eve and in a few moments all the fireworks across the globe will be sent out, signaling the start of a new year. For me, however, it marks the start of the war. In only 15 minutes the Sweet 16th Wars will begin. All the girls in my grade will finally be turning 16 individually at their respective days. In my school, the prestigious Coventry Academy for Young Privileged Ladies, will once again begin its annual tradition and I plan on being crowed Sweet Sixteen Queen. Just like my perfect sister, Annabelle-Rose McAllister, Sweet Sixteen Queen of '97. To become queen you must throw the biggest, most spectacular, most extraordinary party that outshines those of your competitors. All votes will be submitted to the 16th blog; rating, judging and analyzing all parties thrown in the year. Finally, at the end of the semester the queen is crowned at the Masquerade Ball and I, Naomi Aniya McAllister plan on outshining them all, it is my turn to come out on top. The Countdown has begun (10...9...8...) and nothing can stand in my way (7...6...5...). I. Will. Be. Queen. (4...3...2....1...) Happy New Years, May the best 16th Win.

17 year olds are typically focused on college. And their SAT scores that they've been waiting for since forever ago. So are Jessica and Cora. More than everyone else and only in each other, though. Seeing who gets the higher score, higher grades, whoever gets accepted into the lowest acceptance rate college, it determines their moods for the rest of the day. Rivals, but when Cora finds out a secret about Jessica's family life, she realizes the way she's handling it isn't just because she wants her in the best shape for the next test they have to take. It's because she loves her. And she has. For years. And when Jessica's faced with a life changing altercation with Cora, she realizes she loves her just as much. But will the two ever get over their rivalry and admit it?
