When the Muggle Studies class suddenly becomes mandatory in their sixth year, the Golden Trio find themselves reluctantly embarking on the classic Muggle project, better known as 'The Baby Project'. Somehow, Malfoy and Hermione end up "raising" their baby together (not that they're pleased about that). Along with having to deal with Draco being a pain in the ass (and maybe dropping their baby a couple times), she realizes that maybe the Slytherin prince isn't as bad as she always assumed - and that perhaps their feelings for each other could be the key to acing this class (to Hermione's relief).

The Golden Trio were three of the eight students who had decided to return to Hogwarts to complete their seventh year after having been interrupted by the war. A new class had been put into effect at Hogwarts by request of the Ministry. All seventh year students were now required to take a parenting class. The Ministry had realized that more and more students were getting pregnant and didn't know anything about taking care of a child which is why this new class was being put into effect. Students were to be paired up and then afterward they would be given a letter from the Ministry explaining exactly what they would be expected to do during their school year for the class project. It's the seventh year at Hogwarts after the war and the ministry decides that each student will be paired up to have a child. Many wizards were lost during the war, so by doing this project it would teach responsibility, right ? The babies aren't real, they look and behave so but its just for teaching purposes. Hermione wants to get paired with Ron but after he cheats over and over again, she can't bear it anymore. She gets paired with Draco Malfoy and suddenly everything escalates. The golden trio are hanging out in the library, studying for their finals that were yet to come. It was the year after the war, 8th year to be exact. Draco comes up to them and starts talking to them. The golden trio are very confused, Harry flirts, Hermione talks and Ronald, of course, gets pissy and leaves, they end up studying together and secretly hanging out a lot more in other places, mostly the room of requirements which some how fixed itself since the big fire. Draco and Harry become extremely close, bonding over Quidditch and feeling a bit of chemistry, Draco helps Harry with his potions while Harry helps Draco with his D.A.D.A. work. Hermione and Draco get kinda close as well, bonding over the fact that they're both smart and really enjoy reading and school. let's see where this journey takes us.
