On the Horizon

Elisea (Eli) Aricosta is everything but a run of the mill teen in her hometown of Topeka, Kansas. Her dark brown locks, chocolate eyes, tan skin, and her obsession with music, set her aside from all of the fair skinned strawberry blondes living among her in Topeka. The only people she really relates with are her roomies. Eli lives with her aunt Camila and twin older cousins, Sofía and Lucas. Eli is content with her small town life. Right before she starts her junior year of high school at the school she's been at since kindergarten, her aunt tells her possibly the biggest news of her life. They. Are. Moving. Eli now must deal with the colossal change from "Small Town" in nowhere's ville, to the big scare of Beverly Hills, California. Nothing right now is certain in Eli's life, except the fact that her and her ways of life will be changed forever.
