When 16 year old Luziane Torres is forced to stay with her annoying ‘claim to be a teenager’ grandmother for an entire summer, she expects it to be ‘the worst summer ever’.
With her friends thousands of miles away, her father on active duty in Afghanistan, her oppressive mother in charge and having to watch after her younger sister, not knowing what to do in the small, boring town of Doncaster, one could only wish for a supernatural miracle.
Surprisingly, her time there takes an unexpected turn for the best when she meets Louis Tomlinson, the confident, good looking, happy go lucky sixteen year old jokester who eventually stole her heart after their not so pleasant or sanitary first encounter.
What no one knows about is that behind the undaunted rain of sunshine that is Louis',is the abysmal home of a fragile boy with a burning heart on the verge of flames where his smile serves as the adorning barrier concealing the hell he's living in.
Luziane was sure her fairytale relationship would last and transform into the happily ever after she’s always dreamed about, but
unfortunately, summer doesn't last forever and neither does this summer love.
While Luz returns to her normal life in Florida, Louis returns to his aggravating one which he cannot seem to escape.
What happens when promises are broken, duplicity blinds the truth, inevitable decisions are made and fear takes control?
Calamity
Sometimes fear is okay, it can propel us to do more, but a certain uncertainty always lurks inside your mind warning you about the dire consequences. It is when you choose to put that uncertainty aside and let courage seep in completely when you will be determined to overcome life's obstacles without any hesitation despite all complications thrown at you and it is that moment, that makes you brave.

"Nothing makes you hurt like hurting who you love" Love shouldn't hurt, loving somebody with everything you have shouldn't make you feel like you're dying. Louis feels like he's drowning. He should have known where this was going from the start, he should have been prepared. Now he's waking up in an empty bed, some days he doesn't want to even wake up again. There's a hole in his heart; it's in the shape of Harry. Nothing he does can fill it. Drugs, alcohol, pouring out his heart into songs that Harry probably won't ever hear. When Louis is with him, he feels like he's in heaven. Being alone, that's what he feels he deserves, at least Harry can be happier without him.
