Treat You Better

"I Know I can treat you better than he can", so why won't you let me show you? I thought.
That's all I wanted to say to her, to ask her, to beg her for an answer as to why she puts up with that dirt bag of a boyfriend of hers.

This story is of course about the amazing Shawn Mendes and his new song "Treat You Better". In this story Shawn 18 almost 19 years old and his getting ready to go on tour but during the process of making sure that everything is ready, set and good to go Shawn meets a girl named Monique. When he first see's her Shawn's thinks she is the most alluring girl he had ever met and as he starts to have daily conversations and learns more about Monique he becomes even more fascinated by her not just because of her looks but how passionate she is when it comes to anything and everything, how she speaks not only using her mouth but her hands and eyes, how smart and determined she is, and how she stands up for things that she believes in. He quickly grows to develop strong feelings for her and he can't help but to think that those feelings go both ways the only problem is is that Monique was in a 6 month relationship with her boyfriend which also happens to be Shawn's new bass guitarist Aaron. Only knowing Aaron for around two months before going on tour Shawn was surprised to find out that Aaron had a girlfriend as Aaron would often bring different girls to closed rehearsals and would sometimes hear things he didn't want to hear in different rooms and it didn't help that he had never ever mentioned Monique at all in any conversation he had ever had with Shawn.

Hoping to get the girl that has been continuously on his mind all day everyday Shawn keeps thinking to himself that one day Monique will realize that he could treat her better!
