It was two weeks after the day she turned eighteen, Carrie Miller got the call that the love of her life Landon Hayes had be killed overseas in battle. Heartbroken, lost, and her senior year right around the corner, Carrie must learn to continue her life without Landon and open up to new people in her life. Will she be able to do it or will she use Landon's death as an excuse to stop living her life the way he would've wanted?

"Baby why'd you leave me, why'd you have to go? I was counting on forever, now I'll never know. I can't even breathe. It's like I'm looking from a distance, standing in the background, everybody's saying he's not coming home now. This can't be happening to me. This is just a dream."

"We said whoever eats the most pizza has to do the dare no matter how cruel or easy it is." This is just a glimpse of our sleepovers. Ivy and Autumn always drag me into some kind of trap to do their evil dares. Tonight, they used my worst weakness, food. Sighing, "fine. I'll take the dare." They cheered and high-fived as I stood in front of them, glaring. "Better not be something bad!" I blurted, making them snap out of their cheering. They looked at me with a sinister smirk. The smirk where you know their up to something. Something bad. - Meet Jade Williams. Your average girl in every single way. She uses her weekends to binge watch on Netflix and takes her time binge snacking. In no way she would be considered perfect. Yes, sometimes she is picked on every now and then but nothing to extreme. Well despite the fact she has a crush on the most unexpected person. Bryan Jones, the schools bad-boy. He's basically a emotionless, fit brick dressed up in leather. Just your typical bad boy, right? Her life changes from late nights on Netflix to possibly going out to parties because of two guys. Conner Peterson and Bryan Jones. The most anyone can do to keep her out of trouble is to pray. Not to mention the fact that her two dearest friends are two living and breathing dare making machines. How is Jade going to make it out of her senior year alive? - -January 13th 2017- -January 29th 2017- #14 on Rising Teen Fiction -February 13th 2017- 10K Reads -February 14th 2017- #163 in TF -February 22nd 2017- #136 in TF -January 1st 2018 - 100K READS! PSA: this book, to say the very least, is not my proudest work. i made this when i didn't know a thing about writing, let alone writing a whole story. it's simply a book you'd read if you wanted a quick sap and not something in depth. feel free to check out my other books - they're arguably way better than this one

Call It Love

24 parts Ongoing Mature

Elena had always secretly admired Lucas from afar. He was the boy everyone knew, the one with effortless charm and an easy smile. She never imagined her simple crush would lead to something more, but fate had its own plans. It all started when Elena approached Lucas one afternoon, asking him to help fill out a form for college. A trivial request, but one that brought them closer than she ever expected. In the course of their brief conversation, she asked for his number, just to exchange the details for the form. He gave it to her without hesitation. What began as innocent text messages soon turned into long conversations, and before she knew it, they were a couple. Elena, swept away by the intensity of her feelings for him, gave her heart completely to Lucas. But what she didn't know was that Lucas had a different agenda. For him, it started as a game-a way to enjoy the attention of someone who was deeply infatuated with him. He played his part well, offering fleeting moments of affection and charm. But as soon as he got what he wanted, he grew distant. Elena, still lost in the idea of their connection, couldn't understand why he pulled away. Eventually, Lucas ended things, leaving Elena heartbroken and disillusioned. She had given everything for a love that never existed, and now, she was left to pick up the pieces of her shattered heart.
