Hi everyone,
This book is just a collection of short Gothic novels that i have written during this year. I am in no way the best writer out there and I probably have the worst spelling known to man but I thought I would just publish these and see how they go. Some will be no longer than a couple of paragraphs and some will be a couple of A4 pages.
The Creature: 'As it crawled closer, almost panther like. Saliva slowly dripped from its immensely pointed teeth...'
The Chase: 'The full moon was glistening above and the sound of a wolfs howl, almost mocking, as it called for its pack echoed around me.'
The Mansion: '"I simply won't go there again." I said, trying to bring myself to face him. It was difficult to refuse to follow my boss' orders but I couldn't bear to return to that dreadful place.
"This is most disappointing, Brown, especially from you. I say you will go back and finish the job. And that's final." With that, he stormed out of the room and slammed the door.
I sat there for a while and composed myself, remembering what had happened to me only the day before...'
The Weakness: 'He slid a slight piece of paper into my gaunt digits which had no apparent likeness to the fingers I used to own. "Of course you're ready," my boss replied. Despite my youth, he had every faith. I was his strongest client; I had no weakness.'

Austin unclenched his jaw and spoke, "You're going to run from me." I was puzzled. What did he mean? He sensed my confusion. "As soon as we step foot onto human grounds," He spat out, jaw set, teeth clenched. He looked like a vampire at this exact moment. Angry, vicious, destructive. "You're going to want your life back. And leave me. Because you can't deal with a vampire. Because you're scared. Because you hate us." He averted his gaze from my shocked eyes and he spoke with ice in his tone. "And I can't let that happen." - "Listen human," Dmitri said to me, and he was in front of me in a millisecond, hands gripping my shoulders, pinning my body against the balcony railing. His face was inches from mine. "This is not your place. I'd watch your mouth if I was you." I shoved him but he didn't budge. "You can't hurt me," I whispered. "You're a HUMAN!" He yelled in my face gritting his teeth. "How'd you even make it here?" I tried to take my hand away but he didn't allow me. "What do you want from me, Dmitri?" I asked. I was shocked at how confident yet quiet voice sounded. "What do I want?" He bellowed. "You're a human, vermin. This is the vampire world. I don't expect you have any need in this world. I WANT you to get out, stay away from this place, the castles, the people. Austin. Stay away from him." He stared me right in the eyes when he said the sentence that prepared me want to leave immediately. "I'll have to kill you if you don't leave - and yes, that's a threat."Complete

Book 1 in the Blood Series (Under construction and editing) Prologue The full moon lurked over a town called Raven-wood Hills. This was a type of nightmare humans called The Dead Night. No one came out after dark when a full moon raked over the town. This night had been initiated in the early centuries when the pack entered the town. This was a night that the werewolves ruled the streets. They would roam around the town after the sun had fallen and the moon rose. Rumors of murders and the legends of werewolves roaming the streets had spread like wildfire. The man had finally come out of hiding and spoke of the horrors he had witnessed. Oh, the horrors of a wolf that never leaves the Alpha's side. The man swears on his life he had seen Satan himself inside the she-wolf, he told the town that she was under the alpha's power doing exactly what he has asked of her. The man told the horror of what she would do with men and women who would cross her alpha, and he described this she-wolf as a gorgeous woman, her beauty was so alluring yet the coldness and hate in her eyes rendered you from getting near her. She had to be a Siren crossed breed, the man said. An evil temptress on land, the only horror that walked this earth. He warned the town. "Do not tempt and belittle the Alpha of the werewolves for, you will be placed under a spell of fear and death of this Siren Demon."Complete

My eyes narrow. "What do you want? If it's just to annoy me, I'd much rather go back to sleep." "Ah, ah, pet," he says. My breath hitches at the name. Pet. What happened to my actual name? He's the nice one. Playful grins matched with a wink here and there but that smile is absent as he moves his forefinger back and forth in a chastising manner. "You were given three days to settle in. Your bratty behavior will no longer be tolerated." I can't help how my hands travel back to the safety of my shirt. He snaps his fingers and points to the floor beside their feet. "Kneel." * I hated the new world. Years ago, vampires left the shadows to devour what little light humans had left to offer. They didn't want peace-they wanted power. When I was sixteen, the government and leaders of the old world were overthrown to make way for the new. My family, my future, my freedom...gone. I hated vampires. Night After Day
(This is a very old book. It was the first one I ever really attempted to finish and it took me years and there was a lot of stuff happening behind the scenes. Many people helped me write it at the time and I respect all of you even tho we were all young and quite frankly at times didn't know what we were doing. I'm re-publishing it because this book helped me grow and develop my skills. and although this chapter has ended, I'm still here and writing and I believe someone out there will still enjoy this (even tho it's honesting so embarrassing for me oh maaaaan.)) She stared at me and said, very slowly and clearly, "I don't think you understand who exactly you're talking to here," in the sudden darkness they all seemed even more ominous, "We are the Patenuades. " She grinned at me humorlessly and I swear my heart stopped beating. For there, in her mouth, cutting slightly through her bottom lip, were vampire fangs. Suddenly everything in my whole world was turned upside down. Vampires? Real, bloodsucking, neck biting vampires? I wanted to look away but I could help staring at them. I barely registered the fact that she was talking. "We are an ancient royal, powerful pureblood clan which has lasted thousands of years. Journey For Kuuno
A short story prompt for a writing club I'm in I had a month to write it and a 12.5k word limit! It deserves to be longer so I probably should have done something that works well with the limit, but I had a really fun time writing out a concept start for this larger story I'm working on :) Again, this is a concept story! it has it's flaws, I look forward to rewriting it sometime in the future :) The story will explain things somewhat as you read through, but if you would like, here is a setting synopsis: At the end of the 21st century humanity fell to a incurable blight, the Blood Curse, and civilization as it was known collapsed with it. It was only through the biological properties of vampires, whom have existed as long as humans, that humanity could safely stave off the curse. One thousand years later, humanity and vampires have grown together through this mutual need, human's needing their curses to be sated, Vampires needing human blood for sustenance. A once tumultuous relationship of predator and prey now was one of equal standing and reverence. Not all human's have taken kindly to this new order of things however, and societies do exist that reject vampires and dangerously brave the curse on their own. In recent years these human's have become more brave and more daring, and in an ambush on Wyatt's village, Karva the town vampire has been injured and cannot satiate the curse for a time, right when a young child, Kuuno, is in dire need of it. Wyatt, a fledgling vampire yet to conquer their thirst for blood, Yeshen a doctor's apprentice, and Kuuno, the young child, venture out into the woods set for the nearest village and it's vampire to save the young boy. In this thick forest and uncertain times, what will they discover, and will they make it to their destination safely?Complete
