This is based on a true story , The Perron Family had been cursed on Rhode Island. Carolyn was the one who chose to be the witch's victim. She will take upon what's hers and kill Carolyn's kids same as The Witch did to her children. But it is not just a legend or myth , it is based on a TRUE story. Check on the Warren Files , the Perron Family was there. If you watched the movie , just think what's Lorraine without Ed , the ghost hunter was deceased. Leaving Lorraine old , Andrea Perron was the eldest of the 5 , she wrote books of the past Carolyn had. They shared one another to death.

Delaney's family is quite normal apart from being supernatural and all and Delaney loves it and wouldn't do anything to endanger her family.
